here's a lil run down on ivoryblade's (from here on in, i will refer to him as ib) situation...

ib approached me about a box design for a pair of 10" mtx 8000's...currently residing in a prefab sealed enclosure.

1)well, after some discussing, we determined that he had the wrong impedence, subs are svc4 while he was using an rf 6002 amp,parallel-parallel, which was shutting off on him. a mtx 801d will soon find a home with him....

2)the prefab box is just about exactly what mtx recommends for a sealed box, so i suggested a lil polyfill to start out. he's wanting a good sql set-up. if the polyfill doesn't work. i've got a vented enclosure designed.

3) i told him to get over here because we kick ca.com's ass!!
