heres my first impression: i got my enclosure for my sx 15 built and installed today, it slams, still breaking the woofer in. ...... oh yeah its on a sundown 1500 in a 95 accord cpe.

RE has good rep in the car auidio world from their old buisness structure. I think they were a bit different at the time, and definately a wonderfull alternative to the marketed crap in your average big box car audio store

The older xxx did sound pretty decent for the time considering how much power they put out.

The new XXX has some sadistic Xmax when you read the specs, and a verry low FS. Makes me wonder how amazing it would be in an 18 inside the house for an HT sub... then I remindmyself of the retarded price. 2k for a sub.. ouch. Not for the average guy.

I don't know how retarded that price is when REL and Genelec have several offerings in that price range, and exceeding that Sure, they're pre-built, but remember, there are power cords more expensive than $2k
