Pics from Saturday MECA Show

Recommended Posts

Bronco_Box_Front.jpg

* Box is three layers thick on the front for amp mounting - but we are still trying to find another place to mount the amps.

Bronco_Box_Rear.jpg

* Huge port!

Bronco_Trophies.jpg

* Brandon's trophies from the show, and our lucky extra dBeez!

Bronco_Roof_Damage.jpg

* Damage to the roof from demoing at the show

Bronco_Roof_Damage2.jpg

* Another view

The deadener is also ripped all around the edges of the perimeter of the roof... little pieces were falling down all day!

What kinda numbers is it putting up! Those 4 15" night shades off 2 3000ds strapped correct?

Yep.

Did 151 db @ the show, has done 151.9 dB in testing - at the show the driver had to be out of the vehicle.

What's the specs on that box? That port is mamoth, and I know there's not a whole lot of room in the back of those Bronco II's.

was that on a fuse pack or just the 300 amp fuses the amps require

Just on amp fusing - he was in the higher MECA classes that don't run limited fusing - X1 and Modex 3 IIRC.

That port looks like it's alot bigger than that. Pretty impressive though. I like :drink40:

you guys need to build a huge rack of the glass fuses if you can find enough room the more fuses the better

Jacob, I see were you ran in MX3. I seen the score it was a 145.2or3. Very nice score. But didn't see were Brandon ran at all. Todd on Sunday pulled a 145.5 with two SAZ 1500's took Frist place in AS3 and Frist place in DB3 and brought home $50.00 in Prize money.

Yea i think you would have been in mod 5 without fuses but i think the headliner being out put you in modex instead. Good number and I am sure with some tweaking and getting use to metering at the headrest you could get it allot louder. I think you should definitely start competing in meca and if you wanted to travel you could still qualify for worlds this year.

We actually just didn't have time to put the headliner back in after welding the roof and deadening it - of course, we have to do all that all over again now *laughs*

If you don't get points though you could still come to worlds and demo and do promotional stuff.

The way Brandon wants to weld up the roof he'll probably be illegal for most classes - demoing is what he really likes to do anyway.
