That's not a blanket foo! It carpet. And umm, well, I kinda traded them for an OPTI 2000D, but I'm waiting on the amp to arrive to know it's all legit before I ship them. If it falls through, we'll talk. No like the Clarion anymore?

No chit! Both the 99 & TC came on the same truck. I stopped home to throw the boxes in the house whilst shopping. I didn't really look at them til this a.m. when, I thought the very same thing.

Almost tempts me to give the TC a run in the wall....

This is absolute bullchit.

Let me summarize.

-Sub shipped by wrong courier

-I had to pay $30 more at my door because of this error

-Sub came improperly packaged with very little effort in it. I'm a shipper/reciever. It's my job. I know what is acceptable and what is not.

-Subs declared value is $50 with no insurance. If the sub didn't arrive intact because of the terrible packaging, I would have been out $350

-Sub has dual 4ohm coils instead of dual 2

-Sub makes an audible clicking sound at over 1" of excursion

no, not dislike clarion. i thought i had it traded for a panasonic 8300 and $300, so i took it out of the truck. now the kid is all " they cut my hours" " i had unexpected bills"..and what not. so the clarion is just sitting at a friend's ( i borrowed a pos sony h/u so i could have subs) waiting to see what happens...i don't feel like throwing it back in the truck at this moment. i also have a pair of boxes built for those treo's just sitting around....

man..sorry to hear about the coil issue on ur guy's ubers'.....makes me glad i decided not to buy one...

No prob Kent; if the deal with the Lanzar doesn't happen, I'll send them out with the Magnum.

On another note, I think this is going to upset Josh quite a bit. He seemed to not want to deal with the hassles of being in a position like this. Someone in the buildhouse dropped the ball.

He was pretty ticked, but I think what bugged him most is that we posted in the thread on SIN instead of contacting him directly.

It's not a problem for me at all as I will buy my power accordingly, so the impedance is no hinderance in my situation. I will bang away!
