Recommended Posts

Sorry for the trouble, I am just wondering how might I order from Fi Audio's site? Do I email them with my order or what? Appreciate the help.

Thanks, Dover.

Not sure what part of the process you are having problems with, so here is the entire process:

www.ficaraudio.com

Click on SPEAKERS in the column on the left side of the main page

Click on the banner for the type of speaker you want to buy

Scroll down to the size you want.

Select the options you want with the speaker (explaination of options are pinned in the top of the Fi Tech section here in the SSA forum. If you have any questions about them, ask here.)

Update the quantity with the number of subs you want.

Click CHECKOUT.

Your shopping cart will appear. Double check to make sure everything is right.

Follow the checkout process providing shipping info and using PAYPAL. If you do not have a paypal account, create it first at www.paypal.com.

I have all that but, can't seem to find where the checkout is, I'm in my shopping basket but, I see no checkout. Sorry I may sound like a total idiot but, new to this site.

I see the checkout button directly under the quantity box and I am not signed in. . .Maybe there is a security problem blocking your computer from the generic sign in when you enter the home page.

Since Nick will not be on as much, I will ask Scott when I talk to him.

Post up what subs you want and what options.

Okay it must be my desktop because now the checkout option is showing up, thanks a bunch for the help! Also I have a quick question, I'm ordering a SPL 3600 2 channel amp and wondering if it's strong enough to power a, BTL 18' at bridge?

I've never heard of that, nor has google... so I'd guess no.

What's your amplifier budget like?

Well I'm currently selling my system I have now which is a solobaric 15, custom box, and a SPL 2000 W amp for 550-600$ which is going to pay for my BTL 15" and I have an old fender amp lying around that a friend is going to give me around the range of 350-450$ which I'm putting torwards an amp and hopefully a capacitor. I'm building my own box so no budget on that.

Save the cap money and buy another battery and an upgrade alternator. If you truely run 3000+ watts RMS, you will need more than a factory electrical.

Well the thing is I just put a new factory altenator on it but it has the stock battery which its a 98 blazer. I looked into a 220 amp alt which is going to run me close to 200$ so I'm guessing just get a optima bat and just hope it juices.

I'm not sure but i think a decent optima battery will cost you over 200$.

A yellow top for me that cranks like 73 amps/h runs for like 170, replace your current battery there and knock off 10 bucks. I think its a good deal in my situation that is.

Well, good news one of my dads friend's knows of a company that sells 1200 CA for 35 bucks, Wow! Honestly I think this is a blessing from the Fi gods, lmao. But does it exactly have to be a optima? Or can I use a regular bat?
