Calculating port length for two subs in a same box

hi,

I'm using the online port calculator at RE Audio to calculate the port dimensions. However, if i want to use two subs in a shared air space, how do i calculate the port dimensions for a shared port on the two subs?

or it does not matter since the port dimensions will depend on the box volume only.

It makes a small diffrance beacue the other sub's basket and motor will take up some air space but other then that it doesent matter.

As long as displacements are accounted for, tuning is solely a factor of box volume, port area and port length.
