I guess i'll try to get a couple of pics goin as well..

only thing i can think of though is taking the hoses off at the pump, but they are not comin off easy enough

Should have some Shrader valves at the bags.

Taking the hose off at the pump (compressor) won't let the air out of the bags. You need to remove the hose at the valves going to the bags.

on a lincoln..

ontop of the bad there is a solinod... it has a valve on it... but that not how to let the air free...

ontop of the bag there is a R key.. pull the key.. twist the solinod half a click.. and pull up..

PAHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSH.. your done.

well i got it off, lol..

wt the bags inflated...

its like midnight so, to keep in good standards wt the neighbors had to quit.

got some pics, yay..

should get the other one in there 2ma.. Man if i had the money i would switch the bags out to a well, hydraulic type bag...lol, its hard to differ between the two when ur already sayin bagged, ll

Now i was told to switch the differential fluid to 75w-140 synthetic wt xl3additive for a limited slip axle which navigators have.

The pump was rattling real bad, so once i took it off it has grommets that stop it from rattling metal on metal, replaced those and it sounds smooth now.

With the fluid container back in place.

yea i see what u talkin bout jon wt the solinoid, will do 2ma, always been scared of high pressure shit, just because i can imagin freak accidents happenin, such as my bro fillin a bike tire up when we were younger and dat bitch poppin, lol, i think im scarred. :turkey:

But will manage

But the story wt this car is, my grandparents bought it back in 98 when they first came out, was in louisiana for oh, the majority of its life span, they have gotten older and my moms is takin care of them now here in indy, so they gave it to my mom whom gave it to me....

my uncle and cousins where bringin it to indy from louisisana, and on the trip here, i guess all hell broke loose, lol, wt grinding noises and what not..

so they tow it on up, and its been sittin waitin for me to fix it basiclly, well my dads been waitin for me to fix it shall i say.

After i get it fixed i still need to get the title and what not, and the inside is bad....real bad, should be a nice lil project car

It's obviously been submerged in water at least to the axle vent.

IT's got the 8.8, so save yourself some money and use Lucas gear oil in the rear end. It's got friction modifier built-in and it's synthetic, so you're going to save yourself about $10

lol, well i already bought the 75-140 and the hd lucas additive, i've read it should work though a lil better...

it was bout 15$ lol, the additive was bout 10$ +20% off lol

oh and it wasn't submerged in water, its been sittin for a yr(Without the cover on the differential) so rain, snow, ect ect

the bags are not gonna let the air out in a burst... thay are not "quick bags"... the inlet is small.. thats why it takes so long to air upBZZZZZZZZZZZ....

if you want a lincolnaires advice...... trash the bags and the pump... get a spring kit for it...

too many problems with tha bag system... if its not a pump going out its a solinod or a air line, or if it is a bag you have to figure out witch one....

i once had BRAND new good year bags.. one day i was looking at a house for sale,,, and i heard a BOOOOOMMM... both bags blew out same time......

either way.. your a lucky guy.... lincolns seem to fall into your hands offten... im jelouse.

how many miles on that sexy gator/

lmao not booom though, lol

idk man my 93 ltc is still smooth on the bags though, never had any problems wt them..knock on wood.

And yea twist it it off and had to dam near squeeze it to death to get the air out, lol.

I think it has about 165k miles.

Me and my dad figured that when my fam was bringin it up here they said forget spendin 15$ a bottle for that 75-140, lol, kuz i mean u would have to hear that thing grindin or makin some kinda noise..

But any way on to pics

most of the work area lol, u can see the old axle in this one.

the newer one (to me) in there, just gotta tighten up the bolts, finish fillin the differential, and take off the older parkin brakes, cuz there a bitch, hammers torch ect ect, tryin to get the rotors off that thing...the ones from teh broken one are still good so just gonna swap'em....

^^^I hate u

no sir, :( lol

only thing i got done was swithchin the parkin brakes out and turning the rotors....

I mean it really took a good 2 hours to get the parking brakes on there, WTF, lol, its like we got it on there then the rotor wouldn't fit, so we had to loosen, then tighten ect ect the parkin brake just to get the dam rotor on there, lol

But all thats left is really just puttin on the new pads and puttin the tires back on..

still dont have the title so its gonna be a test test run , lol, it would suck to do all that work then get towed
