Voice Speakers

I installed 2 MB QUART 6" speakers 6 months ago in my front doors. I rescently heard a cracking noise coming from one of the front speakers in my integra (Left Door). When I removed the door panel the speaker stopped playing but if I apply a little pressure to the cone with my finger it starts plaing once more. Is it possible that the coils are faulty or is it something else.

soundsmorelike a loose wire, did you pull the speaker out and check the wire, tensil leads and conect points?
