Antenna ground is probably bad. I've never experienced or heard of bad radio reception from an amplifier before.

I know the PG Tantrum 1200.1 I have spews out a lot of EMI, most noticeably around 50MHz. But it's only very apparent in SSB or AM...with the capture effect of FM, it's never actually strong enough to cause breakthrough on broadcast stations (or even in the FM mode on the band where the interference is the most).

the really strong stations come in fine and you cant really tell, but the weaker stations get really fuzzy

but when i disconnect the fuse for the amp while the radio is on the reception improves ALOT

ground on the antenna like ANeonRider said or it could also be a bad amp ground, one or the other. Does sound like a grounding issue though.

Yeah I have had a class d interfere with am radio ( i listen to espn radio constantly ) but never interfere with the fm. Yeah, that sounds like an antennae issue.

how is your antenna connected to your HU? was it a direct plug in or did you have to use a converter? also make sure your power antenna wire is hooked up even if your antenna doesn't have a motor, it is most likely amplified to get better reception. When I had my Altima the antenna was in the rear windshield and needed the power lead connected to get most stations with no interference
