it looks sic in black!!

of course the ford powerplant just ruined it for me....

if it ran a 6 spd manual with a big overdrive...i'd guess 20-25mpg highway..that thing can't be heavy.

of course, until proven otherwise, the Ultima GTR is the quickest thing on the planet..at least from 0-100-0....and of course it's only powered by a small block chevy....hehe

scroll to the bottom for video and don't forget the in car cam!!

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

It's funny people mention gas milage. I drive a Cobra and people ask me about milage. Who cares! I didn't buy this car to worry about gas. I highly doubt anyone who could afford this car will have a problem with that either. It's nice to get good mileage, but not a priority for this type of vehicle.

If i cared so much about mileage, i woulda just gotten a 4 cylinder. Besides, gas mileage depends on how hard you drive the car anyways. Though I doubt i would be driving like an "old grandma" with that car.

i think ppl mention mileage because with today's technology, you can have both, horsepower and fuel economy (or at least something close to it). with 6 spped manuals and 5-6 speed automatics, there is no reason a car with 500hp and weighing 3600pds shouldn't get 25mpg.

heck, my pickup weighs over 5000pds, has 300hp and a 4 speed auto and gets 18 mpg doing about 70mph with the tailgate up.

of course u guys are right, u don't buy an 800hp "supercar" and worry about gas mileage. all u worry about is if it's going to land the females u thought it would when u bought it.

i've noticed u ford guys aren't saying anything about how the ultima beats this ford thingy with 160 less hp. though in the looks department ,especially black, this thing wins.

i'm not a ford guy, but i dont see how 600hp can beat 800 hp,

I mean thats 200 hp to make up for.

Wind resistance? nope

wieght? i dont it

I just dont see, it.

The ford doesn't even give a 0-100 time does it?

Way too many variables. Weight, wind resistance, rolling resistance, drag, tire/wheel combinations, and most of all GEARING!

With a simple gear swap and traction, I could get my Cobra to do 0-60 in 4.xx seconds, that simple. But not that simple. Hence the variables.

Oh, don't forget the powerband. The Ultima may be making max power low in the RPM range, whikle this car may be doing squat til 5-6grand. Who knows. Too many variables.

i imagine the ultima weighs quite a bit less. that'll help it a bunch.

like tire said, power may come differently.

click the link to see the weather. wasn't the greatest.

i'd like to know what this car can do compared to the ultima. however, i think the weight difference is going to play the biggest part. this car looks loaded, while the ultima is basicly a street legal race car.

I personally don't care what the damn thing is powered by. I HATE ALL CHRYSLER products, yet I would kill to have a Viper. Also love the styling on the Crossfire.

The Koenigsegg CC 8S and CCR are powered by supercharged eight cylinder engines, specially developed by the Koenigsegg engineering crew for use in these mid-engined supercars.

... equipped with forged Diamond pistons and forged Manley connecting rods.

Billet camshafts and an exceptionally strong forged crankshaft manufactured by Gerlach Werke ...

A specially manufactured dry-sump engine lubrication system ...

A Koenigsegg engineered unique oil spray device ...

Cylinder heads and block are manufactured for Koenigsegg by Teksid ...

So the cylinder heads, engine block, pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, etc. are all made by someone other than Ford ...

What exactly is Ford in the engine ?

This isn't just "souped-up," it's completely overhauled ...

I stand by my opinion, the right opinion :P

*FYI* I just guessed on the Ultima GT-R

Oh and have you even researched who designs and builds most Ford's current engines ? ;)

Yamaha, Porsche, Mazda, Cosworth, BMW, etc.

But not Ford ! Some of those companies are owned by Ford, but still

not made/designed by Ford ...

Except Mustang and Truck engines ...
