1500d= new batt up front and big three.. with a run of 0 gauge to the rear.

sae 1000= big three and 0 gauge run. you will be fine.

Big three?? and what's a good battery?? i heard Yellow or Red Tops are good

and can u either sum up the Big 3 for me or do u got any pics cuHz SSA wont let me view them

two diffrent cells..... RED TOP... and YELLOW TOP>.. also a BLUE top.

The Big 3 Are:

1. negative battery wire to ground - just replace the negative batt. terminal and wire and ground it to the factory location

2. engine block to ground - replace the ground wire from the engine block to the chasie with a bigger wire (maybe 4 guage)

3. alternator to batt - add a fused wire from the postive post on you alternator (the one comming from the battery) to the postive terminal on your battery. DO NOT exchange wires just add a extra one. make sure it fused the same size as your factory fuse.

If this is for SPL, maybe you should check out a BL instead. But if you really are looking for great SQ, and as you claim are a nub, go for the 1000 from sundown.

The SAZ1500 is a crap ton of power. I'm going to be running one on my Q myself, but I'm going sealed and never plan to crank it up to the top.

If you're still looking for an amp, I just took a Kicker KX1200.1 out of my sons van yesterday. I haven't put it in the For Sale section yet. It's birthsheet states it puts out 1460 watts @ 1 Ohm and works perfectly. It was driving 2 12" AA Arsenals. I haven't taken pics yet but was going to when I get back from vacation. I'll be asking 300.00 plus shipping.

Not hardly. He's going from a Kicker 1200.1 and 2 AA Arsenal 12's to a Sundownaudio SAZ 3000D and 4 Ficaraudio SSD 18"s as soon as we sell some of his stuff.
