i know this is old but i stop with audio for a while but is there any cons of having subs facing towards the trunk lid? i saw quite a few mustangs with the subs firing upwards

Each vehicle will be different. The transfer function can have a negative effect on one firing direction and positive on another. General consensus is fire back.

lol trust me man. im sure we would all agree, its either the install, subs, power, electrical for not having 4 as loud as 2. dont be a douche. so you are saying that bigjons will be louder than the RED s10 with 4 15 btls and 4RF 4k amps. the one that STeve meade himself had a hard time breathing in. im not saying that steve meade is the loudest, im saying at least he is somebody and he vouched how loud it actually is.. sorry i dont do half ass installs, i wouldnt put 1k watts to 4 15s like the guys he challened. aloha from hawaii, alex.
