MECA continued the Best Buy/Geek Squad series on July 5, 2008 in Antioch TN. MECA entered into a cross promotion with Best Buy to host 12 Volt Competitions as well as Car Show and Shines in order to promote Best Buy's new Geek Squad and Autotech services. At the end of the season, competitors who compete in this series are eligible for the Best Buy Points Champion which will be awarded at the Geek Squad Sound fest in October at the Madison TN location.
