Hi Sam,

Ha, that thing is freakin' heavy (twice the weight of my current 12inch). Very solid build, and just plain sexy!

I'm in the process of making a 0.85cube box which I'll pad down to 0.7cube with sand bags and run sealed until I get my external port built then add it on. It'll be ugly but hopefully it'll sound great.

Technically sealed, but its kind of a Quasi 4th order bandpass. Hits hard and sounds good doing it, its designed for 18 cubes before drivers and the manifold; perfect for 4 IXL's, so when theyre in, it should be something to experience ...

Make sure you post up some numbers with this setup. I'd love to try something similar

What was the highest your other setup metered ?

There's a comp coming up on the 30th, i'll let you know how it goes! Hopefully still in the 150's, too bad the next shipment of IXL's wont come in time for me to have 4 of them running

Highest was 151.5 @ 51hz with the ported setup; not enough port area held it back.

crosspug: no updates yet, just waiting on sub #4 to land at my door, get the auto fixed and im off pounding again.

Hopefully with #4 in, it will make the enclosure volume more optimal to the recommended 4.5cubes. That, and with more cone area, and loading the amp lower, im hoping it'll do 150+ on music all day long.
