Marine terminal quick question

Recommended Posts

I'm in the process (literally, just came upstairs to ask this question haha), and i was fitting my marine terminals to my battery. I'm not sure if its a problem, but they don't go down all the way, and even if they could, the bolt wouldn't be able to go through because the holes for it would be so curved. When i bolted it down, it wasn't going anywhere, i'm not worried about that. I'm just not sure if it has to be at the very bottom for the least resistance and best flow

So can i leave as is? or should i get new terminals (though i didn't see any bigger than what i have now).

i actually took the bolt all the way out, and 'tapped' it with a hammer lol. I bolted it where it's at, and hit it on the underside with a hammer to make sure it wasn't going anywhere. I also realized i don't have lead marine terminals, and i'm guessing those would be more flexible, so i may replace them tommorow. Until then, these will have to work or else i'm not going anywhere with my truck haha.

I got it... i ended up having to put needle nose pliers in the hole and spread them out to make it wider.. they fit perfect now.
