Oh yah - I know its coming - there are no ETAs yet on the SAX-50.4 or the SAE multi-channels.

Seriously, there isn't an ETA - sending a PM won't get you an ETA. No, really, seriously :)

*laughs*

... no really, don't PM about it :)

HAHA.

I guess you got a buncha PM's?

hehe.

I normally get a huge number asking for an ETA as soon as I talk about anything I'm working on even if I just finished drawing a picture of it on a napkin :)

Well the SAX-50.4 and SAZ-1000D now have an ETA of 8-10 weeks :) Happy now ?

No ETA on the 250.2 or 2000D, though!

Top end: Nightshade NS-4000D

High end: SAZ-1000D, SAZ-2000D, SAZ-3000D

"Entry" line: SAE-500D, SAE-800D, SAE-1200D

Sounds like a perfect line-up to me. Can't wait.

Now just needs some pimp more 5/6 channels. :)

Fixed.

:)

How did I miss all the info on a SAX 50.4? What size will that one be? Same size as a 100.2? What are we looking at dimensionally for the SAZ-1000? If they're all about the same size I might be miffed. That will mean I'll have to get new amps, ones that are actually a better fit for my setup.

The 50.4 is close to the same size as the 1000D and the SAZ version of the 1000D is the same foot-print, just with the taller SAZ style case.

ARGGHHH!! LOL!

The 2 amps I'm waiting for the most have no ETA's :lame:

But seriously, I think you should at least rush the 2000D. I know your subs are 1500's, but there are ALOT of people running 1000 RMS subwoofers, moreso than single 1500 RMS subs, or 750 RMS subs. I plan on getting 2 1000 RMS subs as soon as your 2000D comes in (not that it matters to you or anything :) ).

I'm just thinking there are a ton of 1000 RMS subs and quite a few 2000 RMS subs that the SAZ-2000D would be a hot selling item. And I would prefer to not have to buy a different brand if I can. Loyalty is one of my favorite traits, right there next to honesty.

Thanks again also for all your excellent customer service and help. I know you've heard it a million times, but it really is appreciated here. I've tried to make up for your kindness by getting a few of my friends to buy your gear (wasn't really hard after they heard mine tho :) )

Thanks again bro!

What are you thinking would be a popular 5 channel?

I'm thinking something along the lines of 75 X 4, and 1000 RMS sub channel would be a super popular item, considering how many people run 400-500 RMS subs, and most speakers are 50-75 RMS.

I mean if a friend was looking for a system (one that sounds good, not merely loud), I'd point them in that direction. 75 RMS and 1000 RMS sounds damn good and gets loud enough for almost everyone I know.

I know alot of people probably want something adjusted though for active, although I don't think it would sell as well, because I've never met a single person IRL that is running active, so I don't even know what an active setup looks like or sounds like.

I'm guessing the active people want like 150X2, 75X2, and then 500-1000 RMS for sub channel?

You know there's not an audible difference between 1500 and 2000W, right? There's no reason to match RMS values. Only thing you get usually is more distortion and more heat in the coil.

I think the amp will sell well but more with the competition crowd than the average consumer. The 1000D should be a hot seller for sure though.

Oh good point. Although, I changed out a JL 1000/1 and put in a Sundown 1000D and noticed an audible difference (in favor of Sundown) so I dunno. If there's no audible difference in 500 watts, then either my JL is fugged up, or the Sundown is WAY underrated!

I just like to match rms levels. I feel like if the sub says it can handle 1000, I want to give it 1000 clean. I want to push it just to the point of hurting it. I don't know why, maybe I just like changing out setups bwahaha.

Trust me... I am working as fast as I can on the 2000D, but the credit markets are AWFUL right now so it makes bringing new products to the market a bit difficult.

funny thing is, he almost had a 5kd or 7kd if people would of put their pennies up for it. I would like to see it happen, even though they would prolly only end up in the hands of serious comp vehicles for the most part
