Sub Decision

I have a ssundown sae 1000d. I am looking for a good 15" sub that is more loud and boomy. I have about 6 cubic feet to work with. I dont have a budget but I dont want to go crazy on buying a sub. Id put it in a ported box. Im mainly looking for loud and boomy and not sq. I mainly listen to rap. Any help would be great thanks.

Fi q in 3.8-4 cuft tuned 30-34hz? will do the trick.

Loud and boomy are box dependent, so just about any sub will qualify.

You could pick up an SSA ICON when they come back in stock in August.

What about the RL p or the IXL? Would the sub be loud and boomy if I tune the box around 35-36 hz?

Why do you want boomy?

Either of the above listed drivers have the ability to get plenty loud and sound good doing it in the right install and box.
