The 730 can be used only for the front stage and do a 3 way, not ideal but IIRC the channels are fully adjustable frequency wise so it would work. The h/u would then have to control the crossover for the sub.

If budget isn't a concern, the L8's are supposed to be beasts as well.

My suggestions are l8,l4,l1 combo. DIY or Morel Elate 9 way's (8.75" mid though.)

Both are in the same ball park for pricing. The morel does come with un-needed crossovers though.

600 is per pair, I'm guessing that you are currently looking at the L8 speakers.

yes the l8....you were saying l8,l4,l1....they have a set on here with the l8,l3,l1 will that l3 instead of the l4 make that a big difference...

Nope, actually the L3 is smaller and if I remember correctly has better off-axis response. Either choice would work great. I would go L4 if you were putting it in kicks, or L3 if you were going to mold them into your a-pillars for example.
