1.8 ft^3 tuned to 33hz. This will be my first attempt at a kerffed port so we'll see how it goes :P:

it doesn't have to be that large unless you don't have a lot of power to give it...

Recommended 1-1.5.

Nope, picked it up cheap off another forum and thought I'd give it a try.

Usually more into SQ/LSQ woofers.

well, i can't wait to hear your opinions on the sub since i have yet to go the SQ way yet. Wanna see what an sq guy thinks about em.

I own their 12s and 15s.

I know when you slightly underpower them that they sound so good.

I am about to try to give them some crazy daily power soon so we'll see if they still hold their sound.

I don't care if they do but i do just a little, that's why i got the Copper coils.

looking good. i have same the sub, and this thing will rock. i have mine on a DD m1a and it asks for more. lol hope you enjoy it.

OK, so it's been slow going on this box. I've only been able to squeeze in a few min here and there but it's all starting to pay off.

Priming/painting the port...

Masking off the areas that will stay white...

Filling in all the screw holes with a MDF dust/wood glue mixture...

Sanded down all the screw holes as well as the joints in the wood...
