TEMPORARY HOLD ON INTRO SALE - MAY BE NEARING OUT OF STOCK

WILL UPDATE IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS

If you intend to order please contact me before sending any money!

-----

New thread. Old thread was getting cluttered and had quite a bit of old information.

INTRO pricing will be available until June 20th.

-----

PRICING:

Paypal money to [email protected]

$65 each for one to three drivers

If you want FOUR of them then send over $240 (60 each).

If you want EIGHT of them then send over $440 (55 each).

Prices are shipped in the continental USA.

I also have some b-stock drivers. B-stock for the E8 is determined as a driver that exhibits lead slapping during my bench testing. This appears as a ticking sound at high excursion. This drivers will work perfectly in a trunk install as the sound will not be audible.

ive seen you say that these are part of your 'entry level' line , are you going to be putting out some beefier subs to fill the gap between the nightshade and these?

also , about the b-stock lead slap , is that the only thing thats wrong with em? how bad is it? will a bit of felt on the backside of the cone help out like what Fi does with thier subs?

thanks.

:)

I will have a few "in between" woofer series later on, yes.

Some of the drivers with slap are pretty bad - others just barely tap at high excursion levels. The ones I am willing to sell as b-stock are the ones that barely tap - I will not ship the bad ones to anyone, period.

A felt pad really would not help as the tapping seems to be against the spider. You would be unable to hear it in a trunk, but MAY be able to pick it up in a hatchback or SUV. I am sitting about 12" away from the driver outside of a box when testing and I'm very particular about what passes QC.

i understand what you mean about things passing QC. from the way you put it , im sure it wouldnt be a problem to some , myself included. are these drivers on hold also? or just the a-stock.

and this may be a stupid question , but i thought i would ask because im sure someone will. will there be any type of recones for these incase one goes?

I have some b-stocks available - only the a-stocks are on hold.

I am also working on getting parts in stock - as I plan to re-build the ones that did not pass QC.

excellent. about how many do you have left as it may be a bit till i can get money together to grab a pair of the b-stocks.

and would it be worth it for the customers to get soft parts sent out or just a new driver as far as cost goes? im assuming the basket is epoxied to the motor rather than bolted..?

It is bolted and glued down to the motor.

Re-Cone parts will be cheaper than a new sub.

I have a couple b-stocks laying around - have only sold a-stock so far.

I am going to un-pin this until I know if I have any more a-stock woofers to sell.
