BTL SUGGESTIONS

Recommended Posts

Need your opinions would like to order these subs no later then this weekend.

The plan is 4 15" BTL's gonna see roughly 25 - 2600 watts each.

What size box tuning & options should we go with.

It's all going in a 91 civic (will be using a wall).

No daily use at all strictly spl install.

Like I said I would like to get these subs ordered a.s.a.p. but can't do it till I KNOW what options to choose.

TIA

Jason

Can you really fit a large enough box with port to allow the BTL's to breath in a Civic??

Well you'll like it here the flaming is a bare minimum if at all.

This guy is the actual owner of the car & the one with the finances so I guess he can take it from here.

Well I have e-mailed the company woth no answer as I understand they are slammed! So any help here would great. I need to know what to order? I want the 4-15"s for spl running 2500 rms to them each and enclosure size for max spl? Thanks

For SPL only, I would do:

Dual 1 or Dual 2, depending on the amps

P-Chamfer - Yes

Cooling - No

HiXmCoil - No

Daily or SPL - SPL

Induct Heat Ring - No

Universal - No

The rest is going to be car/install dependent.

Build and test, modify and test, modify and test. . . .

For (4) 15's in that car, I would start with figuring out your maximum gross airspace. From there, you can start figuring out net space vs. port area.

I've got a response from the people who hold your email account or whatnot..

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its

recipients after more than 48 hours on the queue on mailout5.parasun.com.

The message identifier is: 1K2zas-0008Vc-SE

The date of the message is: Sun, 01 Jun 2008 22:16:18 -0400

The subject of the message is: Re: BTL Options (Need anwsers before we order)

The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is:

bigdog829 ' at ' motorcitymodz.com

No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for

some time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message

remains undelivered. Eventually the mail delivery software will give up,

and when that happens, the message will be returned to you.

If it is strictly for burps then I highly suggest that you choose the flatwire coil option, and no cooling. The vast majority of the installs you have a little more output with the added motor strength of not having the inside of the motor machined out.

Thanks!

I think before you decide to spend 5+ grand on a sound system, let alone subwoofers only.... Get a new fkin car. People are going to do nothing but laugh at you when a rattle machine drives by them. A 91 civic? Step up your game..
