I was thinking about getting two color-tone leather seats to replace the crappy cloth in my car. Is it worth the trouble? or will it burn my butt off in the humid/hot weather in Louisiana? I was thinking maybe either two toned perforated leather or leather with suede insert...

Right now they are offering 599 for the basic leather (+30 for two tone, +25 shipping, +85 for suede or +35 for flat perforated inserts) from http://leatherseats.com/ until Nov. 1 or 679 after.

hmmmmmmm......

i like the leather in my wife's car...but it's not as humid up here, and they still got hot as hell....

with the suede, maybe it'll be cooler..and the perforated leather would help it breath...

it sure as hell, would be cool as hell, as far as looks go!!

but i think i'd just redo with a racing style bucket in a nice cloth....

I always wanted a two tone leather seat package from leatherseats.com and I have seen some pictures of their work. It looks really nice. I think it would give a nice touch to your car. What style/color are you going for?

I would buy it while it is on sale, definately.

I'm not sure yet. My car is steel gray. The factory seats were gray cloth and interior lighting is almost completely red. I'd probably do a gray and some other color. Any opinion on colors?

Black and red two tone. I think leatherseats replaces your cloth panels on the doors too. That would look sweet. Then do some kind of embroidery on the headrests in red. Maybe a mazda symbol...

I hate cloth, it looks cheap and it stinks.

I would go with straight leather, no suede. I am not a big fan of it.

the stuff is called neoprene and its pretty kewl, its not exaclty the same as wetsuits tho. It doesnt stick to you like a wetsuit does. No link sorry...
