Yes, the lighting is shit. Showing off the newly refinished stock wheels. Don't pay too much attention to the wheel gaps, that is being taken care of soon. I'll get some better pictures when I get time.

Already tinted on the back 3, front 2 are not legal, but I might tint them with 35% anyways.

Ordered Tanabe NF210 lowering springs (1.3"f/1.1"r) yesterday to kill the wheel gap & I need to find a replacement for the stock muffler (corrosion) without adding any loudness (actually, quieter would be nice).

Nope, Dupicolor wheel paint. It's all in the prep & coat thickness.

Steps

1. Washed & scrubbed the wheels with dish soap

2. Simple Green degreaser & washed clean

3. Sanded with red scotchbrite pad

4. Sanded with green scotchbrite pad

5. Simple green degreaser, wiped clean

6. Mineral spirits wipe, so ensure the surface is free of everything

7. Tape the wheel off

8. 2 light coats of colour (flat black in this case), followed by 1 heavy coat of colour & finished with 2 light coats. Wait 10min between coats.

9. Wait 45 min for base to cure

10. 2 light coats of clear, 1 heavy coat of clear, 2 light coats of clear. Wait 10 min between the coats.

11. Let sit for 24 hours in a dry & warm room with minimal dust to cure

12. Polish

13. Install
