Bad idea?

So I'm thinking of getting 2 mach 5 ixl15's and the sundown 1500. My question is with big 3 (0guage), kinetic hc800, and factory alt am I gonna toast my alt eventually? Unfortunatly the ixl's are only dual 2 ohm, I don't plan an pounding it all the time but would like a lil more spl occasionally. Cost is a factor to some degree, but would rather spend a little more and be safe if necessary. I've also considered the SSA Icons, but wonder if I would send enough power with the 1500. Either enclosure would be approx. 6-7cu. and ported to suggested spec. Thanks !

the 1500d would be fine for the icons

as for .5 daily i don't think you have enough current to do it safley and it would be the amp that fries not the alt
