Problem Mounting Sub Enclosure

Recommended Posts

I'm getting an enclosure and I haven't seen it yet, but the dimensions I gave were 48x14x?? I want to bolt it to the floor of my car, but I just realized I have a bolt to loosen the spare in the way... the enclosure would cover it. Is there anyway to bolt it on brackets or something to raise it off the floor, so I can gain access to the bolt, while still securing it?

Any good ideas?

Heres the cut in the rug for the bolt. (It's the U shape in the rug)

just to clarify...you're trying to bolt the box to something other then the spare tire one correct? and you want a way to get the box configured somehow so that if you have to remove a spare tire you still can?

when i secure my box to the car, there is nothing factory about it!

Remove all carpet and panels and see where u can secure it.

Sometimes, you may have to leave them off too.
