how do you think a sundown 1500d would go with the fi q with the bp option? would it be too much or just right and what would i keep all my power knobs on

I wouldn't recommend it, if you are sensible about it sure it will take it.

If you do not set the subsonic filter up properly and clip your amp gains then yes you'll likely kill the sub...
