How to wire 12" ssd dual 1 to kicker zx 1000.1

How would i wire this my friend told me to get the dual 1 ohm and he knows what he's talkin about but the amp is rated at 1000 rms @ 2 ohms. Can someone tell me how to wire this

Wire the coils in series the + on one side of the sub to the - on the other side of the sub.

Okay thanks guys..thats how i thought you would do it......also is that amp too much power for the ssd, i got the copper coil on it

Turn the gain down on it. You don't have to utilize all 1kW.
