I'm thinking a single HC2400 along with the 1400 up front would be ok, but it never hurts to have more current :D

Maybe Jacob would be the best to know ?

I'm going to be running about the same thing. 2 SAZ 3000D's and a 200 amp alternator.

I'm putting a Kinetik 1400 up front, and 3 Kinetik 2000's in the back with about 10 runs of power and grounsd from the front. Like Adrian said, never hurts to have more current..

I would think though, the single 2400 and a 1400 like Adrian said though would work. But I always overkill everything, but thats just me...

yeah i hear ya on that one as well i like to over kill things as well then i think i will stick with the 4 i was gonna run the hc 1400 upfront and 3 in the back still undesided on weather or not i want the powermasters or the kinetic. but both would be a good choice from what i have seen and have been told. thanks for the help fellas.

i'd run somethin larger than 1/0 wire from batt up front to amp in the rear if u have no batt in the rear.

To the original poster-

2 3kw amps wont do good off of an alt that only has enough juice to run one of those amps minus the Entire car!

batts in the rear are like a voltage stabilizer. The less reserve time you have, the quicker your voltage will deplete. 300A alt can't run all that power alone so some will come out of the batts.

That's why you should have the recommended batt power in the rear. Now, if your alt could run the ENTIRE stereo AND car too, then all you would really need minimally is a large ass wire runnin back there with a good batt up front. Never hurts to had a little sumthin sumthin in the rear for support.

Also when using Kinetik's calculator thing for seein how many of what batts you need, don't count the batt up front to help you with your demand in the back.

It "might" tag along but i wouldnt recommend it.

If you have 6,000w of power back there, you need one of the following in the rear-

3 HC2000s

4 HC1400s

2 HC2400s 1 HC1400

2 HC2400s 2 HC800s

Anything less is less reserve time which equals quicker voltage drops. I can't tell you how quick because that depends on what is being played\how it's recorded\duration, bla bla bla..

thats cool well my plan is to run 4 powermaster d3100 batts biggest one they make its rated for 3100 max amps 1 upfront and 3 in the back but like i said all i can possible afford atm is 1 d3100 it will prob take about another month or so to get the other 3 im going with powermaster cuz there a little cheeper rated for more current and dominick recomended them to use with his alts said he has nothing but problems with the kinetics but either or thats what i plan on doing so your saying with what i got now i should only run one of the amps till i get the other 3 batts

hook em both up if it's easier to get it done now, just don't run em full tilt unless your doin it like burps.

I can't argue about durability because i have yet to own either brands personally but the Kinetik's offer HIGHER aH and reserve times then Powermaster does.

You are going by the CA rating which should only be looked at for burping, not for music if that's your goal.

k yea ill just strap them and wire the subs for 2ohms which means each amp sees 1 ohm right? and just run them with the gain about 10% till i get the batts

well i have been told a bunch of dif things either you can have a run for each cell stright from the front batt to each of the cells in the back or a run for each cell from the alt to each of the cells in the back or you can run one run from the front batt and link all the batts in the back together in parallel not sure what would be the best
