Some questions about a refurbed SAE-1000D

First off...

I have to ask: will it be as efficient as a brand new one?

Secondly... what voltage should I expect the true 1K RMS @ 1-ohm?

Actually, IIRC, the SAE lines do true power at 13.8V.

I thought they tested the 1000 and it put out more than 1000 at 12.5 volts?

I think Big E is correct in that the sae-1000d does like 1100 at 13.8 or something.

Yep, the official rating is stated for 13.8 volts - but the amp exceeded that at 12.5 volts when tested.

As for the refurbished models - Chris @ db-r repairs them with all original parts, so they work like new.

chris at db-r does awsome work..plus they come with a warrenty...cant go wrong
