Old BMs kick major ass!! Finally got them metered.

I was at a car comp at Michigan Tech today, took 1st place in Street B with a 143.6 on the TL playing Outkast - Speakerboxx.

I also took first in amateur SQ.

Will the new BMs be able to compete with the older version even though they are recommended for only .5ft^3 sealed? By compete I mean output, I read they were supposed to sound just as good.

They should sound better actually, a much more linear BL curve due to the XBL^2 tech in them. As for output, I have no clue, but my guess would be no. They will be loud I'm sure, but compared to a ported sub with more Xmax, they probably won't be as loud.

Yeah that's what I figured. Adding a second one should make up for it I'm sure. Two 12's in around 1.5 cubes would be nice as it is.
