There will be several hundred more SAZ-1500Ds sold, they are the current model until the SAE-1200D arrives.

Yep. The 2000D is basically a scaled up SAZ-1500D.

How much longer on this 2000D?

I think it should be a very popular amp. As there are a TON of subs that can take 1000 RMS, so running 2 obviously requires 2k RMS. There are also quite a few 2000 RMS subs D2 VC that need this kind of power.

I have a feeling I'd be underpowering my Cmass UL12 with a 1500D, or my RE XXX with it.

Desperately awaiting this amp, hopefully it comes soon!

personally i would like to see a 6 channel

4x100 + 2x250, just a pure amplifier, no crossovers or anything like that (yea im kinda a fan of the old amps that been just amplifiers and nothing else)

that would be so awesome for a active 3 way front system

maybe something like a limited line, sax100.4 + sax250.2 in one case

Still working on the 2000D - economy is a bit slow and credit VERY tight in the USA so it has stalled me a bit.

You should do a SAZ-3000D2.... where it would make 3000W @ 2 ohm ..... and after I sell my truck, my guitar equipment, and my dog, I'd be able to afford it.

(but then I wouldn't need it cause I wouldn't have a truck to put it in.)

Hell it could be two SAZ-1500Ds internally bridged in the same chassis...

Prolly would be a non beneficial move on Jakes part. It would be cheaper to purchase 2 1500d and strap em yourself

I do have plans for some SAE Class-D amps that will do power at 2 ohms, though.

I know its been REALLY hard obtaining credit nowadays so I feel your need to delay the 2000D for the time being. I am also desperately waiting for the 2000D amp. I've almost bought the 1500D on like 3 occasions but really need the 500 watts to power 2 subs. Hopefully it will come out some sooner then later as I really don't want to go searching for another amp since I've been hearing soo many great things about sundown.

Do you really NEED that extra little bit. I thought I needed 2 Fi Q's (or something along those lines) with at least 2000 watts to be happy. I have one on a 1500D and it's WAY too loud to run at full tilt daily. Unless you're chasing tenth's you'll be fine with the 1500 which is underrated anyway.

If you're worried about an extra 500 watts. Why not just get the 3000d and have extra headroom? I've always learned its better to have too much power than not enough.

Yeah, but I plan on getting getting eithor (2) 12" Fi Q or (2) 12" Fi BL and have been hearing that they really want the full 1000watss to each? If I could put 750w to each and have it pound then I would be fine with that.
