Burnt lead

I recently burnt one of the leads on my sub. is soldering the wires back together the best way to fix it? if not what is the best way?

if you can get a new lead that would be the place Id start at if not you gotta recone it if you were to just reattatch it chances are its gonna be too short and snap again

by burnt i mean the lead from the terminal to the cone is in two pieces

That would be broke... and cause? Likely overexursion.

Need a new tinsel lead, solder won't hold it together well.
