Orion 8004 Wiring

Hi guys,

I have an older Orion 8004 (circa 2003) that has a rather odd wiring setup. I'm not sure, but I think the remote turn-on power is the connector on the far left - with the one bank of speaker connectors. Notice the power connectors on the other side.

Can someone please confirm this for me?

If that is the XTR model, I think it is. It has been a while since I hooked one of those up. Helotaxi might know for sure.

You're right, it is - Rev 1 if that makes any difference. The online manuals I've come across have a totally different setup from this one.

It was the remote turn-on. You tipped me off on the line name, so I looked it up on Google images.

Thats good, when I was still at the shop, a while ago, we did some very stout installs with the XTR models and the G4's. I still love those amps, even if the wire connector's are small and can break on me.
