From what I gather, the Nightshade and BTL have the same end goal. But with the Nightshade being spanking new, I don't anyone has been able to compare them yet. Jacob would be the best person on the Nightshade details.

The Nightshade is so new, I am not sure there has been any head to head tests with the BTL (which is getting a new motor stack soon anyway).

As for lower fs, there are many factors (much of which is the install) that effect the reproduction at lower frequencies.
