Box size?

I just got a 12" DP (2008) and im going to be giving it around 3500rms from my 5082hx. what kind of box size would handle that power the best and what tuning should i be after?

We usually say 1.75 to 3 cubes ported with 20-48 inches of port...

Average is 2.5 cuft / 35 inches / 28-40 Hz

nah im not looking to compete..just to tie me over until i can get a 21" recone...

does 2.5 cu ft at 35hz sound ok for the power?

Thats alot of power.. I thought the DP's were only 1500 rms. How much can they actually handle daily for spl?

In some testing we've done here they have been able to take 7kw of so for burps. After that I'm not sure, we haven't had a chance to try anything over that yet.
