porting a D2

i was wondering how big the port should be to tune your 4 cu ft recommended box for the D2 15 to 28hz and how long should the port be?

Depends on the shape, size, and number of ports.

i have noticed that whenever u TUne higher, the port lenght is decreased,

and vice versa

You always have to sacrficing something when you build a box...whether it be volume, port length, or tune...something has to give a little...just depends how flexible you can be...

I'd evaluate space, then pick a tuning frequency...see if it's possible....and either..1)shape your port or 2) start all over again
