SSD 15 sealed

Recommended Posts

I sent an email asking this but never got a reply. I was wondering if i could seal up a SSD 15? If so what would be an ideal size for the enclosure? I checked the specs under the SSD section in the sticky thread but all i could find was "we are still testing sealed enclosures" etc. Thanks.

All that information is on Fi's website. Which is probably why you didn't get an email back since it's readily available.

Based on the progression of box sizes for the 10" and the 12", the 15" would be somewhere around a 1^3ft-2.2^3ft.

But if Fi doesn't list it.. it probably isn't recommended to seal the 15" or the 18" SSD.

"We are currently doing testing for sealed boxes, and I will post information if we think that it is ok to use sealed. Otherwise at this point stick to a ported enclosure."
