Maw 12 or CW V-Max or ?

I've researched both Maw 12 and the V-Max 12.x, but I still havent found a clear answer on which one has more SPL and good SQ.

I'm also open to other subs in the same price bracket ($100ish) and fits my needs. It seems like once I find one I plan on buying, I find another more options to choose from.

I'm building a ported box and buying the amp to match the sub I purchase... which brings me to my other question...

...can someone point me in the direction of an amp ($150ish) they recommend?

From what I understand there are no more MAW-12's left. I would suggest the Ascendant Audio Arsenal, also a dual 4 ohm driver.

I am liking my new DC sound lab 12 Lvl 3's and you can get them for around that price range.

I was looking over the SSA site and seen Comp CVRs for $80. From what I read they have mixed reviews, but would still like to here some more

Dude, do yourself a favor and don't get the CVRs. I had the CVXs and their a step about the CVRs and I wouldn't even recommend those. The V-Max subs are a better than the CVXs in my opinion.

Yeah, I've been leaning towards the V-Max. I havent read to much bad things about them, but then again, there isnt much posted about them.

I'm aware of the MAW12 not being in stock, but I can always buy from the classifieds
