ZED an JL W7 series Combo HELP ! ! !

hey guys......i am looking into a new sub setup.......going too take it back to JL i believe this time....first off i have 2 zed audio miniliths......the subs im interested in are the 12w7 or 13w7......... the 13w7 is a dual 1.5 vc sub and the 12w7 is a singl voice coil 3ohm sub. ............ how would u all reccomend me wiring these subs and about how much power would i be getting in you alls reccomendations......thanks and could u all map out the reccom-mended wiring for the strapping or whatever......thanks guys

Typical Continuous Output power into1 ohm 600wx1

Typical Continuous Output Power into 2 ohm 400wx1

Typical Continuous Output Power into 4 ohm 200wx1

Continuous Output Power 2 channels bridged into 2 ohm 1,200w x 1

Continuous Output Power 2 channels bridged into 4 ohm 800w x 1

I didn't realize you could strap the mini's. It would be a lot easier to use the DVC...be really, really, really sure that you set your gains extremely evenly. I would highly recommend an oscilloscope.

You WOULD be strapping the amps together to make one channel. you misquoted the specs as well they are Typically 650Watts at 1 ohm and 1300 watts at 2 ohms "strapped" together. I believe that Steven calls them bridged but you would be hooking them together or "strapping" them together. I think the subwoofer choice is up to you and the sound you like from a speaker. According to Mr. Steven Mantz they are a little over typical output but not so much that you would ever hear an audible difference. I would say that they average 650rms but then again I am not an engineer who designs them for a living. Have an awesome night. Z
