2 MJ-18's

Recommended Posts

Sorry didn't see the Mach 5 forum. I put this in the speaker forum as well.

Anyone tried these sealed? I don't want to take up a significant portion of the back of my Tahoe since I have baby things. So has anyone tried these sealed around the 2.5 to 3 cubes per sub range.

Just so you know they won't have a ton of power on them. Just the sub channel on my Kicker ZX700.5? I'm trying to get something that is a louder and lower the JL12W3's in there now. I'm moving those to my Camaro.

Denim used one sealed. He liked its output. Viperoni also did a pair sealed. Perhaps they can chime in...

I would recommend going with 3cf, or even a bit more if you can.

I understand that you have up to 6cf total to use for the sub(s)?

If you can fit 3.0 cubes, that is where I feel is a good start. Your ear may like it a little smaller, or a little larger. Mine is an 8ohm version and I need a little larger to make the most of the power I have at 8 ohms.

how much power do you have to it at 8ohms? :puzzled:

The strongest in my arsenal is the 2500D, so if 2500approx @1, 1700@2, 1200@4, maybe 600@8.

Sorry, the silver surfer stays with me. I will continue to keep an eye out for you.
