That's what it's rated at. DEI is usually right on or darn near their ratings.

Ya its a nice amp, I got a brand new one for free, dei messed up an order and I got a free one lol, but it deffinently got loud.

I personally like the 2500d's outer case better.

If ur power supply is up to par u can probably get around 2800rms. BUT!!!!!!!! At the same time u may wanna do a lil research on that particular model because Ive seen where alot of poeple have had problems with that one. I use to run 2 of the old 275G Orions and they were power gods and the old 2500D is hell too but this particular model seems to have problems. Not everyone but if I read 10 reviews on it about 6 or 7 of them had a problem with the signal. No going to go into depth with it but just research it. U may wanna try and find the old 2500D.

i know the lower lines were a bit underrated, but i wouldn't expect it on that one. I also would not dare run that one at 1/2 ohm, i've heard of a couple blowing at that load.

The model before that (chrome model) was stable at 1/2 ohm and very close to it's rating, 1200d usually did about 1400W and the 2500d was around 2600 if memory serves.

It's an accurate rating (working on a pair of there already and I hate them, far to complicated compared to the old 2500D).
