cooling ideas for my amps?

ok well in the mini cooper, the back windows are tinted with 5%, plus will be covered completely anyways, so NO sun at ALL will be coming in the back hatch area where the amps are.

they are those MTX TA amps, they have that "xtant" cooling thing or whatever, where it sucks air in the front, and it blows out the sides or something like that. well, since its gonna be walled off, no a/c will be in the rear...i basically wanna throw a few fans in the back that come on with the headunit just to have airflow back there....and i dont mean a couple little PC fans...any ideas? something that wont draw hardly any amperage either.

I replied again on the SMD forum. You could shove a window a/c unit in the rear door lol (j/k). I've heard of people using window units to cool their equipment before

i have used cage fans before, just get some warshers to lift the amp up when you mouth it, then a fan mounted to blow air either on it.. or pulling from it

Blowing air around in an enclosed space isn't going to do anything for you.

You need a fresh supply to keep the air cool. Otherwise, the air will just be heated by the amps, exhausted and then blown back on them.

Think about a port of PVC or flex tube to the front of the car that can hold a fan in each end to get the new air to the back.
