i believe so, i mean they use the same basket for that whole line.

my 15s i think are in the 27-29 ish range... its only a little bigger basket and cone weight.

when i shipped mine out it was 32 pounds shipping weight. why do you need a sub to weight more?? if you think weight is an indicator of performance go pick up a power acoustic mofo.

My 2 SX 15's weigh 28.9lbs a piece. Identical.... I thought the 18 was like 31lbs on woofersetc.com....just with a tad bit heavier cone weight with a bigger basket.

Website says 27lbs for the SX 15's I have and it's almost on the nose.

i just assumed the RE line would be heaver as i helped a friend install a RE 12" xxx and that thing weighed over 50lbs

i was stunned that the SX has such a low motor weight... and claiming 1000rms

The XXX also cost triple what the SX does... I beleive the SX is more comfortable with around 1500 RMS anyhow

bringing this one back from the dead, they use the same motor and baskets are very light. so unless you have a 20 pound basket the re sx 18 will still weigh about the same as the 12 or even the 10.

When I first bought my SX18 I was really skeptical with the weight of the woofer as well. But she's been taking a lot of power since then.. It currently resides in my living room taking care of the lows.
