do the bordermotorsports guys still use the jeep with the 9917s in it?

hell it has to have been atleast 2 years since i seen that thing

the jeep is still in the lanes, not sure on the subs, they've probably upgraded to the 99Z's

I know they took teh Jeep to finals last year, with 99z and a ass load of z2s.

I hear they have a volvo now. And it does 170s.

I think, I believe, but Jake, do you think or believe you could have done a 160 if you would have used the nightshades!!!! :jump:

Ray

Not sure... the MT is a great SPL sub. My box is tuned quite low as it sits, with a higher tune it could do a 60 without issue.

But I have another question, this could also be a topic starter. Why when car audio manufacturers, such as Sundown (hint hint), when the first develop a sub, they develop it for wall applications. Do you know that for dbdrag and other sound competition leagues, street applications or other classes that resemble street, make up almost 50% of the entries. Even with these numbers, when it come to subs, street competitors are overlooked. I wonder why!! :glare: I would like somebody to come out with solid 10's or 12's for street, except for dd.

Ray,

I think the 12" Nightshade will probably do pretty well in Street, I'd like to see it tested :)

I started with 12" and 15" models as they are the best sellers. I'll have to do some testing on 10" and 18" models before releasing them, but they are coming too.

We glued the bottom landing on all four -- so we popped the top spider off all four instead *laughs* I glued them all back better now -- one broke at the triple joint on the bottom spider too, but I was able to fix that as well.
