Just got back from the show... Sundown took a 1st and a 2nd place today.

Justin Davidson in No-Wall 24 - 48 inches:

4x 12" Konaki Subs

4x SAZ-1500Ds

3x Powermaster D3100s

1x Powermaster 200-amp alternator

150.5 dB

* 1st place for the day in this class

* We installed / built this whole system yesterday

----

Jacob Fuller (me) in Wall 1201 - 2400 amps:

4x SAZ-3000Ds

4x RE MT 18s

8x Powermaster D3100s

1x DEKA Intimidator

2x Powermaster 200-amp alternators

158.2 dB

* 2nd place for the day in this class

* I could have entered in 401 - 1200 but will be added 4 more amps so decided to start getting point for the 1201 - 2400 class now.

Big Poppa (Jeff) beat me today with 162 dB :)

There are quite a few, so it would be easier to link here:

http://audioforum.termpro.com/topic/28/890.html

There are class division by amp rated current draw, box type (wall, no wall, etc), and surface diameter of woofers.

Ahh, so in your case, the fuse ratings. I couldn't figure out what the number 1201-2400 applied to. Cool. :D

So with my 1500D, i couldn't compete in NSPL's beginner class, since they all have 100A limits, right? Not that I know of any NSPL comps around here, but just FMI. (for my information lol)

Yah, Rich had a sub problem... the setup looked promising then a sub locked up before he got to meter.

yep, I locked up a sub in testing. We know around what it metered with a single amp, but never got to really let it rip. Tried to rebuild, but it just didn't work out, found a fatal flaw in the way we built the bandpass.....

I think I'm just going to hold out for the Nightshades now. I have 2 SPL vehicles now, one I'm building for DB Drag Street Max 1-2, and the Stratus for NSPL Trunk Modified, and I'm trying to build both at the same time, so waiting on the Nightshades would be a good thing for me, gives me a chance to work on the truck.
