well, I just replaced the alpine 7949 I bought I now have sony cdx-c90 coming... don't think I can do much better than this

its was a x??? something. I know what ubit your talking about... Saw it earlier just can remember the crazy nuber model

yeah, I didn't say its THE best, just that it would be hard to do better.. I'd still like the old Mcintonsh with the d/a converter or a clarion 9255...

You're thinking about the XES-P1 for the EQ and XES-X1 for the crossover and time alignment.
