Help Fire!

Recommended Posts

I took my box and 2-18'' Q's to get airbrushed. My box airbrushed to look like the cube from the movie Hellraiser and to have all my favorite horror movie people airbrushed on the whole cone. The shop next to it caught fire and burned up all the stores in the little strip mall. So I would like to know if I should get the new Havocs or stay with the Q's? The Q's hit hard and loud but I think the Havocs would hit harder and louder but I need them in dual 4 ohms. The Q's are dual 1 ohm. I need to run a 1 ohm load to my amp for full power. I have the MTX TE4001d. 3900 watts at 1 ohm, 2451 at 2 ohms, and 1323 4 ohms. Box size 7 cubes each after port tuned to 30hz. So would the Havocs do more then the Q's? And can I get the Havocs with 4 ohm coils? And can I use the same box design with the Havocs? (7 cubes 30hz) And I like the 30mm of xmax that the Havocs have. And the BL would be good for me to but site said that it only has 21mm xmax. I want excursion. Can I get alonger coil? More air moving = tickets...

Wow, sorry to hear about the fire. As for putting 2k per Havoc, I am not sure, and coils would be special order.

so your q's did burn up? umm if so insurance?

yes the whole strip mall and everything in it. The guy Dru who is airbrushing my things is cutting a check for my subs and box like today. I can control the gain so i wont kill the Havocs. Think the Havocs are a better sub or should i stay with the Q's or BL's? Want it loud and low with crazy bass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally wouldn't mod them to take more power...

I think you would be please with those subs on 1200 watts as they seem to be pretty effecient..
