I've heard a direct swap with a Revolution 1500 (which is the same amp) to a Sundown SAZ-1500D...let's just say, the Sundown is still getting used while the Revo collects dust

It's not bad, if you can get it cheap enough.

a friend of mine was using 2 of these in a VW Jetta on 2x 15" RE Sx and was doing 152.0db on the TermLab mic...

soild amp for burping.... as his never burnt up he just got out of SPL & is now doing SQ...

i was planning on using as daily. probably on an aq hdc3 15. paying around 200. do you think it would do well for this application. i'm not looking for fantastic sq but i would like it to sound decent.

Keep us posted on what you find. I've tried doing some research on them and all i've found so far is that they are rated at 12.8 and arn't overrated. I just bought one last night and it'll be here within the week so i'll try to update you on what i think of it.
