im wanting to get a 15'' BTL and i been researching them and i have seen a lot of comments on how the tinsel leads fry.. why do they do this?? will i be ok with 3,000 watts to my sub or will it eventually fry?

If subsonics are not set up properly and you beat the piss out of it under tuning with a high current amp odds are you will kill it...

If you don't do that then you won't have any problems.
