Re-Coned my First sub

stripped the old cone out / cleaned the basket / saughtered the connections on the tencel leads / used 30min epoxy resin ( clear ) / had to make my own spacers as they did not shipp with the kit...

all thats left to do is place the dustcap and connect the leads to the Positive & negitive terminals...

reconing is easy as nuts. it's kind of fun too! i used maybe 4 sheets of paper as a shim for my SX. also i used wooden clothes hanger clips all around the sub to clamp it down as it dried. give a good amount of cure time then wang away.

sweetness! i've never had to re-cone a speaker yet, however i have had my sub apart for a week now and had to shim and re-glue the suspension...goddamn adire doing chitty re-cone before they closed

well find out if i did it right soon enuff

going to see if i can find some push (Spring loaded ) terminals to replace the screw terminals ...
